Effects of MoS2 on Tribology and Adhesion Properties of Polytetrafluoroethylene Base Bonded Solid Lubrication Coating
-
Abstract
Taking MoS2 powders as filler and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as solid lubricant,PTFE base bonded solid lubrication coatings were prepared by air spraying three kinds of paints on GCr15 steel substrate and then cured at 80,120,160 ℃,the mass ratio of PTFE and MoS2 in the paints was 12,32 and 52 (taking epoxy resin as binder). The tribology and adhesion properties of the coatings were investigated. The results show that, when the mass ratio of PTFE and MoS2 in the paint was 52,the synergy of the filler and lubricant exhibited optimally, when the curing temperature was 120 ℃,the tribology and adhesion properties of the formula coationg were optimal, now the friction coefficient was 0.125,the wear loss was about 0.008 3 mm3 and the adhesion was 16.73 N.
